Usage[]
- Specialty Item: to use this item, left-click on it in your Hoard. This pulls up a menu that allows you to select which dragon you would like to use it on. Clicking a dragon shows you a preview of them with this gene before actually changing it. Once a dragon is selected, click Apply Changes to change their secondary gene to Alloy.
Appearance[]
The Alloy gene gives a dragon's wings a metallic sheen. Contrasting streaks appear with some colors; examples include a beige with Violet and a blue with Copper.
History[]
- Alloy was hinted at in the Weekly Q&A on September 20th, 2016,[1][2] and was released on December 29th, 2016.[3]
- An error on the female Guardian art where the back wing had no shading was corrected on June 14th, 2020.[4]
- There was a brief period after the fix where Abyss Alloy on female Guardians did not show up and displayed as completely blank.[5]
- An error on the male Obelisk art where Shamrock Alloy displayed with blank, cut-out sections on the mane and wings was corrected on October 8th, 2021.
