Usage[]
Specialty Item: to use this item, left-click on it in your Hoard. This pulls up a menu that allows you to select which dragon you would like to use it on. Clicking a dragon shows you a preview of them with this gene before actually changing it. Once a dragon is selected, click Apply Changes to change their tertiary gene to Glowtail.
Appearance[]
The Glowtail gene colors a dragon's tail and gives it a glossy, segmented appearance. The tail has a glowing effect where it overlaps in front of the body or wings.
The gene was pulled from the Marketplace approximately seven hours after release after community complaints about the quality of the gene, especially in regards to being a gem-bought gene. The gene was changed to make "a smoother, more subtle gradation of color and tone down the glow effect as it pertains to foreground objects".[2] Art errors on male Tundras and Snappers where parts of the coloring clipped obviously out of the lineart were also fixed.
Glowtail went back up for sale in the Marketplace on May 9th, 2020.[3]
