  • Marketplace: can be purchased in the Specialty section of the Marketplace for 300,000

Usage[]

  • Specialty Item: to use this item, left-click on it in your Hoard. This pulls up a menu that allows you to select which dragon you would like to use it on. Clicking a dragon shows you a preview of them with this gene before actually changing it. Once a dragon is selected, click Apply Changes to change their primary gene to Mosaic.
  • Hibernal Den: 1 Primary Gene: Mosaic is used to unlock a den slot.

Appearance[]

The Mosaic gene gives a dragon a series of interlocking patterns on their body resembling a mosaic. The primary color appears in the most amount while two other colors appear within the mosaic "bubbles". Additionally, a gradient accent color appears on the hands and feet and down the spine.

History[]

  • Mosaic was released on July 23rd, 2020.[1]
  • An error on hatchling Coatl in which the hands and feet gradients were absent was corrected on January 7th, 2022.[2]

Trivia[]

  • Mosaic is the primary counterpart to the Breakup secondary.
  • Mosaic is the first primary gene that was originally an ancient gene before being made available to modern dragons.
