Obtained Via[]

  • Marketplace: can be purchased in the Specialty section of the Marketplace for 500

Usage[]

  • Specialty Item: to use this item, left-click on it in your Hoard. This pulls up a menu that allows you to select which Veilspun you would like to use it on. Clicking a Veilspun will show you a preview of them with this gene before actually changing it. Once a Veilspun is selected, click Apply Changes to change their tertiary gene to Stained.

Appearance[]

The Stained gene applies a tint to a Banescale using their tertiary color. The various tints and shades can subtly (or not so subtly) alter the look of a dragon, creating new hues to enjoy.

If a dragon has both a white primary and secondary with a colored Stained tertiary, it results in a pastel version of their tertiary across their whole bodies. The below dragons are showcasing that effect.

Now showing off what this gene can really do is a peridot Skink, mint Tear Banescale with a basic tertiary.

Now here is that same dragon displaying various colored Stained tertiaries.

History[]

  • Stained (Banescale) was released on December 4th, 2020.[1]
