Usage[]
Specialty Item: to use this item, left-click on it in your Hoard. This will pull up a menu that allows you to select which Banescale you would like to use it on. Clicking a Banescale will show you a preview of them with this gene before actually changing it. Once a Banescale is selected, click Apply Changes to change their primary gene to Tapir.
Appearance[]
The Tapir gene gives a Banescale dappled segments of stripes running lengthwise across their body. These stripes start on the face and continue all the way to the tip of the tail. A gradient appears behind the stripes on the face, legs, and wingtips. The pattern is based on that of a real-life creature, a tapir calf.
