Appearance[]
The Vipera gene gives a dragon a dark, zigzagging pattern down their spine with spots inbetween. Angular markings also appear along the mouth, with a stripe behind the eye. Spots can be found on the knuckles, and the fingers and toes are darkened.
The zigzag pattern runs up the wing "arms" as well, and becomes uncoordinated and blotchy as it does so, leading into its secondary counterpart, Hypnotic.
The gene markings overall resemble patterns characteristic of various species of real-world pit vipers.
